This project involved the design of an educational tip sheet developed for the UCLA Wellbeing for LA Learning Center in partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. The resource supports caregivers and providers in understanding infant crying patterns and offers guidance to help caregivers feel more informed, confident, and supported when caring for a frequently crying baby.

The handout was designed for use within a learning and wellness platform, requiring a calm, accessible visual approach that could reduce stress while delivering practical information. My role focused on structuring the content in a way that was easy to navigate, reassuring in tone, and appropriate for a wide range of caregivers and cultural backgrounds.

Using Adobe Illustrator, I developed vector-based illustrations and a clear visual system that reinforces the educational content without overwhelming it. Special attention was given to color theory, typographic hierarchy, and the clear delineation of question-and-answer sections, allowing readers to quickly locate key information. Diverse, inclusive illustrative elements were used to reflect the broad communities served while maintaining a neutral and supportive presentation.

The final piece balances clarity and warmth, supporting caregiver education through thoughtful design aligned with public health and early childhood wellness standards.
