This project involved the design of a website for Sacred Path Indigenous Wellness Center, a Native-led nonprofit dedicated to improving the quality of life for Indigenous individuals and families through culturally grounded health, behavioral health, and community-based services.
I was referred directly to support the organization during its early formation, with the goal of establishing a clear, welcoming, and mission-driven digital presence. The website needed to communicate Sacred Path’s values, services, and vision while honoring tribal and cultural diversity and remaining accessible to a broad community audience.
Using Adobe XD, I developed digital wireframes and prototypes to collaboratively review page structure, content hierarchy, and user flow with the client. This process ensured clarity around services, programs, and pathways for engagement before visual refinement. I then curated and refined stock imagery using Adobe Photoshop, selecting visuals that respectfully reflect Indigenous communities and align with the organization’s wellness-focused mission.
The final design balances warmth and professionalism, supporting Sacred Path’s outreach, education, and service delivery goals while establishing a strong foundation for future growth. The project demonstrates my ability to translate community-centered values into thoughtful digital design through collaboration, cultural competency, and disciplined visual planning.
